Prayer
A Lenten Prayer
Lord
You call us to repent and to believe your Kingdom is at hand. You teach us to do your will and follow Jesus on the way to the cross. Renew us in the grace of our Baptism. Transform our thoughts, words and actions so that we may live out the Good News of Jesus.
Amen
Principal's Update
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you have had a great weekend. We have to keep enjoying this beautiful weather while it lasts.
NAPLAN
Our Year 3 and 5 students sat their NAPLAN assessments this week. They approached these assessments with maturity and mostly with ease. Who in reality ever likes to sit a ‘test’. The assessments covered during NAPLAN are a range of areas of literacy and numeracy. These assessments cover area such as language conventions, reading comprehension, writing and Mathematics. We look forward to seeing the results of these assessments.
Pink Day
Some of you may have noticed our teachers were all wearing various shades of Pink on Wednesday It had the students intrigued. I was pleased to note the Year 6 students picked up on the colour during the morning assembly. They asked if it was International Pink Day or something else. In fact it was what our teachers are calling Wacky Wednesday.
As we have split recess and lunch due to the reduced oval space this year, our teachers can go for long periods without seeing each other. We are trying to bring a little fun back into being together. We will be involving the children into some of these days throughout the year.
Next week we will have two colour days, the first is on Monday for St Patrick’s Day and the children are invited to wear Green. For this one we ask the children to bring in a Gold Coin donation with the funds going towards Catholic Mission. The second is on Thursday for Harmony Day. This is an accessory only colour day and the children are invited to wear an orange accessory.
Have a great week.

Emergency Contacts & Change of Routine information
Please note that the Emergency Contact we have for your child is for the school to use in an emergency if we can't contact the parents/guardian. Emergency Contacts do not have permission to collect your child during school hours.
If your child is being collected early by someone other than parent/guardian, or has a change of routine after school, please contact the school office to notify us of this. Do not send a message to the teacher via Seesaw re these changes as they may be away or not see it as they are teaching. The Office staff will not allow collection of a child until we have confirmed this with a parent/guardian.
Medication at School - A reminder that Request to Administer Medication forms need to be completed each year. If your child had the completed form in 2023, you are covered for a short time, but please have the doctor complete this asap.
If your child has never had medication at school but now needs to do so, please have the attached form completed, signed and stamped by the doctor and bring the medication to the school office in the original container. This includes prescription medication as well as over the counter meds (pharmacists can complete this form for puffers and over the counter meds.
