Easter Prayer
Principal's Update
Dear Parents and Carers,
It’s been a busy week this week with Easter festivities. In the heart of our celebrations, our Kinder student's performances at Nareen Gardens and Reynolds Court Nursing homes were wonderful. They were a testament to the incredible talents and compassionate hearts of our youngest students, and it was heart-warming to see our children, adorned in their colourful Easter hats, bringing smiles, laughter, and a few joyful tears to the residents. Their rendition of Little Peter Rabbit and If I Were a Butterfly, created unforgettable memories for both the young and the young-at-heart. We are incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding performances and the kindness they showed.
Adding to the festive spirit, our Easter Hat Parade and raffle were nothing short of spectacular. The creativity displayed in the array of handmade hats was a delightful showcase of our children's imagination and craftsmanship. The excitement continued with our Easter Raffle. It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit, highlighting the joy and togetherness that define our school. We would like to extend a huge thank you to all families who purchased tickets. We raised $2700 and that will go to St Vincent de Paul and Project Compassion. This will go a long way to support many families in need.
Highlights of our Holy Week Celebrations began with the Palm Sunday liturgy led by our Kinder students and continued with the commemoration of the journey to the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. The reverence demonstrated by our students during these two important events was commendable. We will celebrate our Lord’s resurrection when we return on Wednesday.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continuous support and involvement in making our school a wonderful place for our children to learn and grow.
Wishing you all a very Happy Easter. May this season of renewal bring joy, peace, and cherished moments with your loved ones.
Warmest wishes and a blessed Easter,
Yvette Owens
